Setting up custom questions, values, behaviors, and norms are easy with ChatFox. You can simply add or remove any question from our Icebreakers to focus on key questions that are important to your team’s culture. Or you can add values, behaviors, and norms that team members reinforce by recommending them in Shout Outs.
Step 1: Upgrade
Custom Icebreakers & Shout Outs are enterprise features. If you do not have them activated in your account you can upgrade on the ChatFox Slack Homepage or email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a trial.
Step 2: Enable Customization
Custom Icebreaker Questions and Shout Outs are not automatically turned on. So you will need to click on setting to activate them. You will need to turn each customized chat on individually:
Step 3: Customize
After enabling custom Icebreakers and Shouts Outs head back to the ChatFox Slack Homepage and you will see an option to customize:
You can remove standard questions by clicking the Select an Icebreaker dropdown. Or you can add your own question to put into the rotation. The rotation is random so your questions will be randomly selected during the weekly Icebreaker.
Although you can customize “skills” in Shout Outs our customers add skills as well as company values, goals, behaviors and norms. Use Shout Out custom skills to reinforce what ever you would like your team to focus on by encouraging recommendations:
Once you have set up custom Icebreakers and Shout Outs to your liking our automated chats will continue to reinforce the questions, skills, goals, values, behaviors and norms that you have built into ChatFox.
