Product Update: Google Calendar Integration

Product Update: Google Calendar Integration

June 12, 2020

Our team has been focused on creating the most engaging chats possible. That means continuously increasing the functionality while improving the users experience and lowering the friction. Coffee Chats are a great way to have meaningful and engaging conversations with team members across your organization, but it is always a challenge to find a time to meet up. This is especially true when you have work meetings that take priority. You do not have the time to go back and forth trying to find times that work for team members. That is why we have added our Google Calendar integration to Coffee Chats.

By connecting your Google Calendar you opt into automatically being set up for Coffee Chats every week. We will find 10 minutes that are available on your colleague’s calendars and set a time for all of you to connect. Connecting with team members on a personal level is essential for remote teams. It allows you to learn about team members that you do not regularly work with. It builds the level of rapport and confidence across the organization and in turn, improves collaboration and productivity.

Connect Your Google Calendar

At the beginning of the week you will be asked to suggest a time or connect your Google Calendar. Click connect and we will do the rest. You will receive reminders on your designated Coffee Chat Day prior to meetings.

About ChatFox

ChatFox is a Slack chatbot that builds remote team culture. Remote teams that only engage through projects, tasks, and deadlines do not foster a culture around shared values and goals. Build a strong remote team culture, improve remote team productivity, and eliminate team member isolation. Use ChatFox Icebreakers to build rapport with team members, use ChatFox Coffee Chats to have meaningful conversations with people across your organization, or use ChatFox Shout Outs to recommend a colleague and endorse their skills. Unlike other remote team solutions, ChatFox looks at remote team culture from a strategic perspective and has created engaging chats for your team that provide management with insights into remote team engagement, skills, contributions, and mobility.
