Product Update: Birthdays, Cadences, & Settings

This is our best update yet! Managing your time and your team’s time is important. Do we think that remote team culture is the most important thing to consider when running your remote business…yes! That being said, we understand that you and your team have many other responsibilities. That is why we have created a flexible and simplified chat settings system that allows you to have as many or as few chats every month in as many channels as you want for as many departments as you want. On top of that, we added a fun new feature, Birthdays!

Birthdays

Don’t forget your team members’ birthdays. Our new birthday feature helps your remote team celebrate birthdays with an automated birthday post on your selected channel.

More Cadence Control

Set up each chat exactly how you want it. In the new settings menu you can choose each of the following details about each chat:

1. How many weeks you want each chat in a month.
2. Which day of the week you want the chat on the selected monthly cadence.
3. Which channel you want each chat.

For example, you can have multiple coffee chats in a week or in a month, each in a different channel. This opens up many opportunities for various departments in your organization to have their own Icebreakers, Coffee Chats, and Shout Outs in their own dedicated channels.
